Where: The ice and the snow from the Ice Age took up most of the United States and all of Canada. Small parts of China and Japan were covered as well. Europe was covered with the same amount of snow and ice as America.
The neanderthals and homo sapiens both originated from Africa, but the neanderthals ended up moving to Eurasia long before the homo sapiens. They lived far west and north of Britain. As for the homo sapiens, they also lived in Africa but later moved toward the middle east of East Asia. They were also found in Southern Asia. The woolly mammoths lived around Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America and the animal was last found extinct years later in Wrangle Island. As for the saber-tooth tigers, they lived around North and South America. The giant ground sloth lived in the grassy and woodland areas of South America. |
